Tim Long and
Grace Long, is a local family run business with a passion for computer technology. Tim graduated from the University of Glamorgan with a B.Sc. in Computer Studies in 1986. After a spell working for Nortel Networks and Cisco Systems in California’s exotic Silicon Valley (where he met and married Grace), Tim has returned to Wales with a mission to help local businesses.
Historically, uptake of IT in South Wales has been poor and local businesses are not making the best use of Information Technology. With computers being used as glorified typewriters (if at all) many local businesses are missing the point of IT – technology that could make them more efficient, more responsive to customers and more profitable. TiGra’s mission is to help change all that.
We want to help local businesses make better use of the technology they already have and to understand and embrace new technology. We know that most business owners don’t want to worry about technology or spend much time learning about it, so we take all that off your hands. Acting as your outsourced IT department, we handle the installation, maintenance and support for your systems while you just get on with running your business. Your IT investment will support you in achieving your business goals, instead of just being another problem to deal with.
We have an informal style and hope to appeal to even the smallest of businesses that might be intimidated by some of the larger IT companies, but make no mistake, we know our stuff. We’re backed by Microsoft and were the first local company to qualify as a
